ICC-CSCP Young Scientist Award

Joint presented by International Corrosion Council and Chinese Society for Corrosion and Protection

The International Corrosion Council (ICC) and the Chinese Corrosion and Protection Society (CSCP) will jointly launch the “ICC-CSCP Young Scientists” Award to recognize young scientists who have made outstanding contributions to basic and applied research on corrosion and protection.

Nominees must be participants of the 22nd International Corrosion Congress and generally under the age of 38. Applicants from the 22nd ICC participants will submit their application forms to the session chair before October 9th 2024. One candidate from each session will be recommended to the jury before October 13rd 2024. A jury will evaluate the submitted materials. The result of the selection will be announced to the Organizing committee of 22nd ICC before October 17th 2024. The ICC-CSCP Young Scientist Award will be granted during the 22nd International Corrosion Congress (22nd ICC).

“Best Oral Presentation”, “Excellent Poster” and “Popular Poster”

During the 22nd International Corrosion Congress, “Best Oral Presentation”, “Excellent Poster” and “Popular Poster” will be launched.

Rules for the “Best Oral Presentation”: Each technical session will recommend one candidates to the jury at the end of the session. The jury will evaluate the submissions. The “Best Oral Presentation” will be presented at the closing ceremony of the 22nd International Corrosion Congress or posted on official website of the 22nd International Corrosion Congress after the event.

Rules for the “Excellent Poster” and “Popular Poster”: “Excellent Poster” will be selected by a professional jury, and “Popular Poster” will be selected by the voting results of participants. The “Excellent Poster” and “Popular Poster” will be awarded during the 22nd International Corrosion Congress.

Poster requirements:

  • Width 90 cm, height 120 cm, the page margin of the page is 25 mm. Participants need to prepare the posters by their own and post them in the designated area of the venue.
  • The soft copy of the posters should be submitted to icc22nd@126.com before October 10, 2024.
